Content Marketing Strategy
The Internet is a double-edged sword when it comes to running a content
marketing strategy for an online business.
On the one hand, it offers the potential to reach millions (or even billions)
of potential customers instantly and in many cases for free.
On the other hand, you usually are competing against a greater number
of other entrepreneurs for the same customers within your niche.
The key to succeeding is attracting more visitors to your website than
other internet marketers offering similar products and services to yours.
Understand What Your Customer Is Looking For
If you have been working in your niche for some time, you probably
already have a basic concept of what problem your prospective customer
is trying to solve when they go online.
Let’s say you are working in the dating and relationships niche.
As an experienced entrepreneur in this highly lucrative market, you
know that your customers are looking for one thing: Love.
With that in mind, your content marketing strategy should involve you
designing your pages so that they give the customers what they want.
In our example, this would be reassurance that you can solve whatever
relationship problem they are having, whether it is getting back an ex,

Using Keywords to Attract Visitors

seeking online use keywords to filter through the millions of web pages
and provide the best ones for their users.
Including the most popular keywords for your niche is the best way to
get your pages to the top of the page rankings for your niche.
For example, if you are selling a product that teaches how to win back
an ex, people seeking these types of products will probably go to
Google or Bing and type in something like “winning back my ex” or
“how to win back my ex.”
You definitely want to include these keywords in the copy of your web
page, but you can improve your rankings even higher if you also include
them in the headline, sub-headers, the last paragraph, the meta
description of your web page, images on the page, and even in the name
of your website itself.
People generally go online for one of two reasons: To be entertained or
to learn something. With that in mind, when choosing topics to attract
visitors to your web page you want to satisfy one of these two requirements.
If you want to entertain, your niche-related content will probably be
You can either create your own videos or use one of the billions of
other videos online to entertain your visitors.
If your goal is to educate your visitor, then your content marketing
strategy needs to offer them something that they didn’t know before
and that they find interesting and useful.
In our example, this could be something such as “The Top 10 Reasons
Couples Reunite after a Breakup”.
Providing high value content that entertains, educates, or does both
is the best way to develop content on your web page to attract the
most amount of visitors.
